The downside of this HT Yaesu FT 70DR is the battery capacity of 1800mAH which tends to drain of continous using for 2 hrs. As per my usage its standby time is only 6-7hrs. Should have been a capacity of 2250 mAH enough to last a day in the field use.

Excellent workmanship, sensitivity and audio. The battery life is a disappointment, 15 minutes of QSO and it's already empty. I updated the software but nothing changed. I bought a new SBR-24L 1800mAh battery but nothing, the duration is disheartening. I do not recommend it for this reason! Yaesu do something.
