DX98VHP description :

The Galaxy DX-98VHP combines very high power performance with a classic mobile radio design to deliver AM/SSB communications on 10-meter ham radio frequencies. The transceiver has an easy to read front panel meter to measure incoming signal strength, RF power output and SWR also. It has an variable dimmer adjustable control for faceplate, channel, frequency, and meter displays. Other features: +10KHz switch, for easy frequency shift. Fine (±1KHz) and Coarse (±6KHz) knob allows variation of the radio operating frequencies above and below the channel frequency. Variable talkback control for monitor your own voice - usefull to compare different microphones. ANL/noise-blanker. Built-in echo and voice changer. On/off roger-beep. Left side microphone jack. Eight IRF520 MOSFET on RF power stage. Adjustable RF power output. External speaker and PA speaker connectors. Heat sink on bottom with 2 internal fans. The DX98VHP comes with a 4-pin dynamic microphone, mounting bracket and mounting kit.

Very good radio. Very stable in SSB and AM, develops in SSB easily 200 Watt. It's my best device for years, I recommend it for someone who wants a good CB station. Galaxy: very reliable.
