The MP518B500 is a portable, compact, microwave tuner for 0.5-18 GHz with an instantaneous output bandwidth of 500 MHz. The tuner operates via USB3.0 port with open architecture control of frequency, filter preselection, gain. Its wideband main output is centered at 1000 MHz with auxiliary, synchronous, outputs at 900 MHz, 120 MHz, 21,4 MHz for a diversity of markets and applications. This front-end is ideal for lab and field applications, including extension of old receiver up to microwave bands, EMI instruments upgrade to 18 GHz, ELINT, SIGINT, COMINT. The MP518B500 incorporates a sub-octave preselector filters bank with bypass mode (filter setup time 50 ns), a synthesizer with low noise and high tuning speed, 10 MHz internal frequency reference, easy Windows and Linux control.
