This radio covers the amateur bands from 160 through 10 meters and features a general coverage 0.5-30 MHz receiver. Power output can be set from 5 to 100 Watts. The transceiver includes a 16-bit Digital Signal Processing (DSP) unit to process audio frequencies. Taking full advantage of this technology enables dual selectable Beat Cancel tools, Noise Reduction adjustable in 9 steps, SSB/AM/FM Slope Low/High cut-off frequencies control with up to 441 possible combinations, CW/FSK Variable Band Tuning, Automatic Zero-beating for CW operation, total customization of transmitted audio through the use of functions such as the TX Equalizer. Large LCD display section coupled with an ergonomically-optimized human interface, 100 regular memories and 5 quick memories to capture the current operation on-the-fly, built-in Automatic Antenna Tuner. The TS-570-DG is an updated version of "D" model with 3 added DSP CW filters. Ideated in Japan, year of introduction 1997 (TS-570DG year 2000).
