The Yaesu FTA-750L "Spirit" is a VHF Airband Transceiver with 5 Watts Output Power packed with features, plus it includes a WAAS GPS receiver (66 channels) for reliable waypoint navigation. Boasting an oversized full dot matrix LCD display (43 x 43mm, 160 x 160px), this Airband radio provides full communication on the Aircraft Band (118 to 137 MHz) and additionally provides VOR / ILS navigation (108 to 118 MHz) and Glide-Slope (329 to 335 MHz) features. The transceiver includes NOAA weather band monitoring and the capability of programming up to 200 memory channels with a quick and easy channel recall feature. The easy to operate menu system is icon driven, making it simple to navigate. 25 kHz and 8.33 kHz channel spacing, Water protection at IPX5 rating, Rugged construction certified to MIL-STD-810-F, loud Audio (800 mW), high capacity Li-Ion Battery (2000 mAh), alkaline Battery tray (AA x 6) also included, supplied USB programming cable. Ideated in Japan, year of introduction 2014.

FTA-750L VOR navigation :

When the Yaesu FTA-750L receives a VOR signal, the display will automatically switch to the NAV band screen and show the CDI (Course deviation indicator) based on this signal. The SOG is displayed when the internal GPS acquires a fix
