Despite its compact dimensions the transceiver delivers an astonishing 200 Watts with a standard DC 13.8V supply. Yet its separate LCD control panel with speaker and backlit keys is perfect for base station use as for mobile operation. By taking advantage of DSP technology this radio gives you enhanced interference reduction capabilities and improves the quality of audio with adjustable filter frequencies and TX/RX equalizer. Continuous receiver coverage from 50 kHz to 60 MHz, IF-shift, highly effective Digital Noise Limiter for removing the pulse noise that cannot be eliminated with conventional noise blankers (NB), twin final section with separate power sources featuring splitter and combiner circuitry, two antenna connectors, twin cooling fans. Ideated in Japan, year of introduction 2004.
