Compact, MIL-STD-compliant, 144 MHz FM transceiver delivers powerful mobile performance and advanced features. High RF power output, 60 Watts. High-quality front speaker, the large 5.7 x 3.5cm speaker provides excellent clarity. 200 memory channels plus 1 Call-channel, each channel can be used to store transmit and receive frequencies independently. For maximum versatility, the radio offers several scan functions including: band scan, memory scan, program scan, memory group scan, call scan, CTCSS scan, DCS scan, priority scan. NOAA Weather Alert (US only). Ideated in Japan, year of introduction 2003.
