Features ultra compact design, output power up to 5 Watts, 9600 bps Packet-ready, a separate 0.1-1300 MHz all-mode receiver without gaps, dual-frequency receive within the same amateur radio band, 33Hz min step size, 400 memories, 34 special function memory channels, CTCSS, DCS, 1750Hz tone, VOX function, MHz-scan and Visual-scan, repeater offset frequency up to 59.95 MHz in steps of 50 kHz, long operation period with a Li-ion battery pack, easy to control and select various functions with Multi-scroll key. Meets MIL-STD 810C/D/E for rain, humidity, vibration and shock. Ideated in Japan, year of introduction 2001.
